A Student Concept i made for Monster Academy. This is like my 5th character or something, lol.

The original idea was to have “puppets” with the “image” of someone or something people wanted to be instead of themselves. Like a kid would have a superhero puppet of sorts, or a teenager would have a rockstar or something like that. This idea was rather complex to pull off on the Academy’s lore and would already cause a lot of confusion by itself. Not to mention i already have an original monster species to explain (Mirra Refliki and the “Monsters in the mirror”)

Instead I opted for a much simpler, but still appealing idea. It involves a living doll who has no shadow. The shadow works like a poltergeist, being invisible while grabbing things around her. This doubles as the doll’s pupeteer.
Put simply, this character has one soul that has two bodies. The Doll and the Shadow Pupeteer.
